  • May 1-Beltane. Bathe your eyes in morning dew to get a glimpse of your true love; celebrate as usual.
  • May 2-Fire Festival of Bona Dea-The ìgood Goddessî was worshipped in secret womenís rites led by Vestal Priestesses. Be creative.
  • May 3-Feast of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Poland-Feast day honoring Mary as the Great Mother and Her role in fertility.
  • May 4-Irish holiday honoring sacred wells. Put some fresh spring water on your altar today. Drink some as a prelude to any healing work or for trance induction prior to Otherworld journeying.
  • May 5-Guatemalan Rain Ceremonies. Use the altar spring water from yesterday to do some rain making magic. Sprinkle it on a garden, pour it on a rock, and ask that the nurturing rains come at just the right time to assure an abundant harvest for the world.
  • May 6-Day of dedication to the Star Goddess. Stay up late tonight and star gaze; learn the myths associated with the constellations you are able to identify.
  • May 7-Day of Anukins, Goddess of Fertility of the Nile. Create a ìfloodî on your altar and ask that all those in Africa and every other place in need have enough to eat this year.
  • May 8-Furry Day in England. Pamper and/or bless your pets today. If you donít have pets, leave offerings for other furry creatures somewhere.
  • May 9-Feast of Artemis. Spend the day with women only or alone. Consider picnicking in the woods.
  • May 10-Day of Tíien Hau-Chinese Empress of Heaven, but primarily a Goddess of the sea, She saved Her brother from downing via a prophetic dream. Ask Her for psychic dreams.
  • May 11-Rumanian Festival of the Fates. Make an offering or burn incense and ask that the Fates be kind to you.
  • May 12-Day Dedicated to the Wild Spirit of the Forest. Leave an offering of dried corn or other food at the forestís edge. Do a spell for protection of wild things.
  • May 13-First appearance of Our Lady of Fatima, 1917. Ask the Goddesses to manifest more fully in you.
  • May 14-The Festival of Isis (Egypt). Share the day with your child/ren or with your child within.
  • May 15-Day of Maia-Originally a star Goddess, later older sister of the Pleiades, our name for this month comes from Her. Find the Pleiades in the sky tonight. Their reappearance heralded the coming of the growing season to the ancient Celts.
  • May 16-Day Dedicated to Changing Woman. Offer Sage in your censer and honor the youthful within.
  • May 17-Festival of Hathor. Drink milk to honor this Mother Goddessí nurturing ability.
  • May 18-Day Dedicated to Hera-Goddess of women, their sexuality and life cycle. Honor yours today.
  • May 19-Kallyntara, Sacred Spring Cleaning (Greece). Do some of yours today.
  • May 20-Day Dedicated to Sekhmet. Light a candle for Her on your altar at noon.
  • May 21-Day of Devi-Hindu Goddess of all force and form. Use Her to bring clarity of vision and organization to your life.
  • May 22-Feast Day of St. Rita. Honor Goddesses of compassion today with flowers and incense.
  • May 23-Rosalia, Roman Rose Festival. Give one to a friend or loved one today.
  • May 24-Birthday of Artemis. Leave an offering on a wooded hilltop.
  • May 25-Day of Fortuna. Do a ritual for luck and/or success today.
  • May 26-Day to honor Amazon Goddesses. Pick your favorite and honor Her with an act of bravery.
  • May 27-Day of the Three Mothers. Honor triple Goddesses by burning white, red and black candles.
  • May 28-Purification of the Pythia-Like the oracle, we too need to purify and rededicate our psychic abilities to the service of the Goddess and life. You can do so today with a ritual bath.
  • May 29-Corn Mother Festival. Eat corn; leave some out for animals or on your altar.
  • May 30-Blessing of the Fields. If you are not able to bless the fields in the traditional way by making love in them, plant a seed and watch it grow.
  • May 31-Feast of Stella Maris-The ìStar of the Seaî. Honor Her today by placing a bowl of salt water on your altar.
