The Paradox of Hope

Hopelessness kills - hopelessness will kill - will kill you…us
hopelessness has killed me more than once - it is a disease of disconnection and isolation - the only cure is hope – cognitive, spiritual, invocational hope

Hope can kill - hope can preserve life in hopeless situations - hope has been used to secure the powerless - by oppressive regimes and religions - a life jacket for the culturally tortured and lost - hope can feed rose tinted denial and open the vision -
to see beyond the emperor’s new casino

Hope kills - hope can kill - hope can kill you - hope can kill us - hope has killed me more than once - but dying again doesn’t feel like such a good idea today - so, I am choosing action over hopelessness - clarity and faith over hope - trusting the turn of the wheel - and the truth that new life - will always come out of the darkness
