Seasonal Salon

Harvest Prayer

Since the beginning, women have learned from plant magic and watched for signs of seasonal change. Staying alive depended on respecting and participating in the dance. I love autumn in particular when the grain is harvested and the fish and birds are on the move. Like my most ancient foremothers, I am grateful for the gifts of healing, nurturance and beauty found at this turn of the year.
