WTI Weekend Groups Guidelines
Who is eligible to participate in WTI Training?
Any woman over the age of 18 who has considered both the Affirmation of Women's Spirituality and the Consecration Affirmation, who is willing to become a member of the Re-formed Congregation of the Goddess, International, and who is interested in pursuing further knowledge of Women's Spirituality, Goddess religion, female divinity, or women's witchcraft is welcome to enroll in WTI training.
Group Size and Payment
A WTI Group must have at least 6 Participants to begin.
No Group may go beyond a maximum of one year from the date that their membership drops below 6 Participants.
A Group may be disbanded by the WTI Advisory Council if:
At any time the membership of a group falls below 6 Participants.
Payments being made by Participants over time are not made in a timely manner causing the number of Participants who are current on their contracts to fall below 6.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 10/5/92
Number of Participants
Any Group with fewer than 20 Participants may not elect to close to new members. An individual or a grouping of participants may, at any time, become part of a closed group outside of WTI training. Any such group will, however, be considered separate from a WTI Group.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 2/19/93
Suspension
Reasons participants may be asked to withdraw from training are:
If a participant has failed to become a member of the Congregation.
If a participant has shown no progress in the training for a period of six months.
If a participant is more than 3 months delinquent in making time payments.
A participant may not miss more than the equivalent of one weekend per year. This can be calculated on a hour-per-hour basis for a total of 11 hours that may be missed. If a participant is absent more than 11 hours in a year, termination is automatic. Years are calculated by Contract Year, September 1 – August 31.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 2/19/94
For any other reason by consensus decision of the WTI Advisory Council.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 2/15/03
Being asked to withdraw from training does not release a participant from a payment contract.
Rejoining Training After Resigning
Participants who exit training or are asked to withdraw may not rejoin the training in that same contract year. A contract year is defined by contract date.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 2/19/94
Leave of Absence
Participants may request a leave of absence for up to 3 years. If the participant rejoins the training within 3 years she may begin at the level at which she exited. If a participant rejoins the training after 3 years, her previous training is considered void and she must begin again with Cycle I.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 2/19/94
Intensive Attendance
A participant must attend four (4) intensives to graduate from WTI. At least one of these intensives must be while the participants are in Cycle I or II. If a participant is in training more than six (6) years, additional intensive participation may be required on a year-per-year basis.
Adopted by the WTI Advisory Council 3/22/96
Auditing A WTI Program
Fees for participants who elect to audit WTI programs are the same as Cycle I fees regardless of the amount of time an auditing participant attends the Program.
An auditing participant must:
Complete enrollment forms.
Complete a contract for each year she audits the Program and be timely in the payment of her fees.
It is recommended, but not required, that an auditing participant attend two (2) Advising Weekends and 1 Intensive per year.
WTI auditing participants receive:
Neither Mistress of Goddess Spirituality nor Mistress of Wicca Credentials.
WTI auditing participants:
Have no official status in a Cycle.
Are not candidates for ordination.
A participant who is auditing may decide to become a regular/non-auditing WTI participant at any time. If she has audited a Program for more than one year, upon completion of her Cycle I documentation, she may move to Cycle II.
A participant who has been enrolled as a regular/non-auditing WTI participant may elect to audit the program at any time. A previously enrolled WTI participant may audit a Program for up to 3 years and still count her previous work if she reenters a Program. If the participant rejoins the Program within 3 years, she may begin at the level at which she exited. If a participant rejoins a Program after 3 years, her previous training is considered void and she must begin again with Cycle I.
