WTI Study

What is the Women’s Thealogical Institute (WTI)?

The Women’s Thealogical Institute (WTI) is a multidimensional school and seminary for women who wish to further their understanding of the Goddess, women’s spirituality, and/or women’s witchcraft. Being a part of WTI offers women the opportunity to learn, practice, and share their spiritual work with others on similar paths.

There are two ways you can participate in WTI. Click one of the links below for more information.

WTI Weekend Groups

Currently, weekend programs happen in Austin, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Asheville, North Carolina; Madison, Wisconsin; and rotating cities in the western US. Women in the weekend program meet for 2 Advising weekends a year with their group to share their program work with others. WTI Weekend Groups are programs that require enrollment and may lead to certification and/or ministerial credentials.

If you are interested in starting a new WTI Weekend Group in your area, please email us.

WTI Online Program

All cycles of the Cella and Crone Programs are offered online and one may graduate from WTI through the Program. Online participants take part in regular training with their Advisor and become part of a learning and sharing online community. Currently WTI’s Athena Program is aligned with an online weekend group meeting twice a year.

Those interested in ordination and receiving ministerial credentials may take the first part of their training online, and will then need to transfer to a weekend group.

For more information, please email us at RCG-I.

WTI Weekend Groups meet twice yearly in various locations in North America.

Upcoming Spring 2026 Class

Creating A Magical Home: Using Feng Shui and Granny Magic

Janet Rhodes-Carlson, Instructor

Have you ever walked into someone’s home and felt the magic and good energy surrounding you? What creates that feeling and how can we bring it into our own homes? It is done by using a little bit of magic and a little bit of knowledge, along with tuning into our own gifts.

This class will explore how to use Granny Magic and Feng Shui to create the environment you want. We will explore a variety of ways to work with the space we have both inside and out. This class is interactive, and participants will be encouraged to share their ideas, ways of magic, and anything else they are comfortable sharing about how they create inviting spaces.

We will utilize Google Groups as well as virtual classes on Zoom, Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM CST beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

WTI Topics: Psychic Skills, Magic, Environment, Divination, Creative Activities, Personal Growth

About the Instructor:

Janet Rhodes-Carlson is a Candidate for Ordination and is in the Pre-Ordination Mentoring Program. She is a life-long student and has studied Feng Shui and the use of magic for several years as ways to create a healthy environment for humans and nature.

She lives in a home built in 1900 that sits in 6 acres of woods and has a lot of good magical energy. In addition to that she has two cats, Artemis who is a Tortie (which is an explanation in itself) and Odin, who is a rescue. Their magic just adds to the enchantment of her home.

Janet is a full-time Social Worker in the Emergency Room at a local hospital and teaches at Purdue University part-time. Her areas for teaching include cultural perspectives, life span development, and diverse populations, along with grief, death and dying. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her five grandsons who are 8, 9, 12, 13, and 16 years old.
